We have been proud members of Winter Springs since 2003 and we love to give back. Here are a few ways we do that.
- We believe in supporting our community that is unable to see a dentist regularly, that’s why we have our Smiles from the Heart day every year.
- We believe sports mouth guards protect our athletes, so we have a FREE mouthguard program for our local high schoolers!
- We offer a yearly scholarship to various high schools to support the next generation of medical or dental professionals.
- We also opened a dental assistant training school, FLDATS – Florida Dental Assistant Training Schools to allow for our community to have opportunities for job training in a growing dental industry, instead of longer 2-4 year university programs.

They are so gentle and kind as well as caring when it comes to their patients. At first I didn't have insurance, but because they made me feel so comfortable and important and are so unbelievably nice, I didn't care and paid with cash. I decided even if I never have dental insurance I will continue to go there. This is the very first time I've actually looked forward to going to a dentist. Because of illness, I missed my cleaning in June with my regular hygienist. Today I had a cleaning with Tasha, and she did a great job. She made me so comfortable and even gave me “greetings” from my regular hygienist. I was impressed with all of the mitigation procedures that they have in place. You will get the best dental care and customer service at Collins Dental, bar none. The staff is incredible and caring. Dr. Collins is an exceptional dentist and a caring, compassionate human. The quality of his work is also exceptional. There are little "perks" they give you to make your time there more comfortable. They offer neck pillows, blankets, sunglasses (for the bright lights), and more. They also have all the best and latest equipment like 360° X-ray machine. Please note that you will pay more for that. They are more expensive than other dentists. Dentistry in general is ridiculously expensive. It's the last frontier of healthcare, in my opinion. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. I have found that the "bargain" dentists that are covered by HMOs are generally not very good. We have had some terrible experiences and lasting damage from those. The better dentists charge more, but even some of them are sorely lacking in customer care. For me, it's worth paying a little more to get the exceptional care and quality product of Collins Dental. You truly feel cared for in their hands.
